Permit to fly - EASA

The Permit to Fly shall be issued to aircraft that do not meet, or have not been shown to meet, applicable airworthiness requirements but are capable of safe flight under defined conditions and for defined purposes under Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.

When approval of the Flight Conditions is related to the safety of the design in accordance with point 21. A.710 (a), the Flight Conditions shall be approved by EASA (FO.CERT.00037) or by an appropriately approved design organization, under the privilege of point 21. A.263(c)(6).

When approval of the Flight Conditions is not related to the safety of the design, the Flight Conditions shall be approved by the competent authority. For specifications regarding the approval of Flight Conditions and their relation to the safety of the design refer to GM 21.A.710 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.

The CAA shall issue a Permit to Fly to an aircraft entered in the Aircraft Register of the Republic of Slovenia. Where an aircraft is not entered in the register, the Permit to Fly shall be issued by the competent authority designated by the Member State which prescribed the identification marks in accordance with 21. A.705 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.
