Maintenance organisation - 145
Part-145 Authorized Maintenance Organisation
Maintenance organisation approved under Part-145 of Annex II to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014, given its scope of authorization, is authorized to maintain complex airplanes and aircrafts operated by air carriers approved under Regulation (EC) No 1008/2008.
Initial certification of the Part-145 authorized maintenance organisation
To begin the certification process for a maintenance organisation, the following shall be sent to the CAA:
- Application for Part 145 Approval - EASA Form 2 (AIR.OBR-000005);
- Application for approval of the management personnel - EASA Form 4 (AIR.OBR-000004) together with evidences on meeting the required criteria;
- Draft of the Maintenance organisation exposition - MOE;
- Filled out checklist EASA Part 145 MOE checklist (AIR.CHK-000044).
Upon the receipt of the documents indicating the scope of the approval, the Agency will issue a decision on the costs for the payment of the tariff, which will be sent to the organisation.
Change to the initial certification of the Part-145 authorized maintenance organisation
To begin the amendment process of the certificate of a maintenance organisation, the following shall be sent to the CAA:
- Application for Part 145 Approval – EASA Form 2 (AIR.OBR-000005) which clearly indicates the changes;
- Other application if applicable - Application for approval of the management personnel – EASA Form 4 (AIR.OBR-000004) together with evidences on meeting the required criteria;
- Adequately revised Maintenance organisation exposition - MOE;
- Filled out checklist EASA Part 145 MOE checklist (AIR.CHK-000044) in the part relevant to the proposed change.
Upon the receipt of the documents indicating the scope of the proposed change, the Agency will issue a decision on the costs for the payment of the tariff, which will be sent to the organisation.
